The method of floor grinding consists in the mechanical removal of the surface layer of concrete damaged as a result of use. Grinding is designed to clean the surface of dirt, grease and other contaminants. Depending on the type of floor, five to seven sanding steps are required. Different rubbing materials are used during each of the stages.
In this method, concrete is dry polished with the use of special lashings, which does not generate dust fumes and does not exclude from use some of the sectors that are undergoing regeneration. Interference with the hardened concrete layer, in the case of a hall floor, is minimal.
During grinding, microcracks in the concrete are exposed. A protective chemical agent, which we can use at the request of the client, penetrates the microcracks filling them. Penetrates into concrete surfaces, securing and permanently strengthening them.
